Common Areas

Residents have access to all common areas of the centre including the great room which is used recreation programs and church services, the living room with a fireplace and roof top patio and garden courtyard. Visiting and resident pets are also welcome at Bethany Sylvan Lake.

Community

Bethany Sylvan Lake is built adjacent to the Sylvan Lake Lodge. Together these two organizations provide the full range of seniors’ housing, support and care services – making this a true aging-in-place community.

Chaplain

Bethany Care Society is a faith-based organization and chaplains minister to residents representing a wide diversity of faiths and denominations. This ministry provides spiritual care for residents, families, staff and volunteers. You can access Pastoral Care by contacting the Chaplain’s office at the care centre.

Activities

Having the ability to stay active is one of the best reasons to live at Bethany Sylvan Lake. And a full calendar of events makes sure residents have this opportunity. Recreation programs promote life-enhancing activities such as gardening, pets, games, music and art, to name a few. We also offer a wheelchair accessible bus for outings.

Extra Services

Bethany Sylvan Lake offers a number of other services that are available at a nominal charge. Some of these services include a hair dresser, a foot care clinic and audiologist. On-site laundry services are also available for an additional charge and some recreational day trips may require a fee.
