Rental Agreement

Supportive living is a rental agreement between Bethany Care Society and the resident. People who live in supportive living enjoy the convenience of meals and light weekly housekeeping. A 24-hour personal response system, and some recreational, social and spiritual programs are also included as part of the reasonable monthly rate.

A medical assessment is required prior to a rental agreement being signed to ensure care needs are within the service levels provided by Bethany. If it is determined that you need medical assistance this will need to be provided by Alberta Health Services or a private provider.

Common Areas

Residents have access to all common areas of the centre including a "memory" room for quiet conversations, dining room with homemade meals, and a great room which can be reserved for private parties. Free parking with a plug-in is available for those residents who drive their own vehicle.

Community

Bethany Airdrie is a seniors’ community that enables residents to remain connected with community life. The range of seniors’ housing, support and care services provided at the care centre make this a true aging-in-place community.

Chaplain

Bethany Care Society is a faith-based organization and chaplains minister to residents representing a wide diversity of faiths and denominations. This ministry provides spiritual care for residents, families, staff and volunteers. You can access Pastoral Care by contacting the Chaplain’s office at the care centre.

Activities

Having the ability to stay active in the community is one of the best reasons to live at Bethany Airdrie. And a full recreation calendar makes sure seniors are given the opportunity to stay active. A wheelchair accessible bus gives residents an opportunity to leave the care centre for activities like excursions, theatre trips and other social events.

Extra Services

Bethany Airdrie offers a number of other services that are available at a nominal charge. Some of these services include a hair dresser, a foot care clinic and an audiologist. On-site laundry services are also available for an additional charge and washers and dryers are available for residents to do their own laundry.
