In complex times, we experience rapid change in non-linear and unpredictable ways. It’s a maze of uncertain circumstances – often disconcerting, yet with great potential for creative breakthroughs in how we think, act and live.
In times of uncertainty, we look for answers to our leaders and to activities of leadership that worked in a more predictable past. But complex times are, by definition, uncertain and constantly evolving. Complex problems cannot be solved in the same ways or with the same tools that brought us successfully to today.
Once we recognize these differences in our present working environment, we can learn to both lead and participate in new ways. Together, we can build our dreams by unleashing the creative potential of the complexity maze.
