Media Information

Bethany Care Society is an advocate for the community of clients and residents within our care. Communication with the media is one role of an advocate. We work with media to provide accurate and balanced coverage of news related to seniors and persons with disabilities. All media inquiries should be directed to the Communication and Marketing Department.

In keeping with Bethany’s media policies and provincial privacy legislation, media should be aware that:

No media interviews, recording or photography/videotaping of residents, staff, volunteers or others will take place on Bethany premises without appropriate authorization and consent (written or verbal as required).

Staff of the Communication and Marketing Department will assure appropriate and timely assistance for media inquiries.
