Celebrating Palm Sunday

In celebration of Palm Sunday, Father Silvano Vargas (pictured) of St. Pius X Church delivered Mass at Bethany Calgary. As customary on Palm Sunday, palms were blessed and passed out to those in attendance. This year, the palms were grown in the atrium at the care centre.
Palm Sunday is a Christian feast which falls on the Sunday before Easter Sunday and celebrates the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and it marks the beginning of Holy week.
