Bethany Airdrie and Bethany Care Foundation are celebrating two exciting projects at the care centre – the unveiling of the donor recognition wall and the official opening of the Crocus Corner Family Room.
City of Airdrie Aldermen Glenda Alexander and Fred Burley will both be on hand to participate in the celebration.
“I am happy to say that after nearly two years of fundraising, the renovations to the Crocus Corner Family Room and the donor recognition wall are now complete,” says Shirley Philips, Executive Director, Bethany Care Foundation. “It was through the generous support of community members and friends of Bethany that we were able to complete these two exciting and important projects.”
“We work everyday to celebrate the independent spirit of those who call Bethany home,” says Greer Black, President and CEO. “And, we believe offering community spaces like Crocus Corner for social activities and family gatherings will contribute to quality of life.”
Part of the Airdrie community since 1987, Bethany Airdrie provides continuing care for 74 long term care residents who require 24-hour nursing care due to complex health needs and 52 supportive living suites for independent seniors who want to live in a community setting.
