Bethany Harvest Hills Hosts Community Meeting on Health Care in Alberta

Posted on Wednesday, June 09, 2010

MLA Teresa Woo-Paw recently invited Hon. Gene Zwozdesky, Minister of Alberta Health and Wellness to Bethany Harvest Hills for a community discussion on health care. It was an opportunity for members of Teresa’s constituency of Calgary-MacKay to meet the Health Minister and raise a variety of health care issues.

“This was also a great opportunity to showcase another one of our care centres to the Health Minister,” says Greer Black, President and CEO. “After the meeting we toured the Minister through the centre and he was impressed with the unique design and the overall atmosphere of Bethany Harvest Hills which was specifically designed for people in the middle to late stages of dementia.”
