Current Openings

Bethany Calgary

Recreation and Event Outing Attendants
Recreation and Event Outing Attendants needed approximately 1 or 2 days per week between 9:30am and 4:30pm to assist with special events and outings. Transportation provided for all outings.

Musician
Accompanists needed to play piano and/or organ for weekly Hymn Sings and Worship Services on weekdays and Sundays. Flexible schedule. Provide customer service at a small retail store in a care centre.

Lifeline Tester
Lifeline Tester to assist Supportive Living residents to make test calls into Phillips Lifeline to ensure unit is receiving/sending signals.  Flexible schedule, once a month. 

Von Assistant
VON Assistant needed to help porter/visit with residents while they are waiting for foot care.  Schedule is once per month, mornings or afternoon available.  Shift is dependant on when VON is scheduled.  

General Volunteer Opportunities

Gift Shop Attendant
Provide customer service at a small retail store in a care centre.

Hydration Volunteer
This is an opportunity to socialize with residents while helping them increase their fluid intake.  
 
Mealtime Companion
Enhance the meal time experience for residents by providing social enjoyment while assisting with the eating process.
 
One to One Visitor
Visit with residents to encourage conversation, friendship and one-on-one attention. 

Pastoral Care Visitor
Provide one-on-one pastoral presence and explore Spiritual meaning in resident’s lives. 

Recreation Activity Volunteer
Provide the support needed to help residents participate in group programming in the care centre. 

Recreation Outing Volunteer
Help residents participate and socialize in the community by attending special events or community outings.
