Standards of Conduct

Volunteers must adhere to the Bethany Care Society Standards of Conduct.

These standards refer to:

  • Abuse of Clients/Residents
  • Safety
  • Harassment
  • Confidentiality
  • Dishonesty and Theft
  • Personal Appearance
  • Conflict of Interest
  • Alcohol and Drug Abuse
  • Identification
  • Personal Calls
  • Smoking
  • Performance

Volunteers must sign to indicate that the Standards of Conduct were read, discussed (as appropriate) and are aware that the Standards of Conduct most be followed. A more detailed copy of the Standards of Conduct policy is available upon request.
